Malware scanner for Android devices

Google working on built-in malware scanner for Android devices .Latest Google Play store may come with a built-in malware scanner in near future.

According to Android police,  a string file in google play store updates and may come with built in malware scanner.The string file has  an “App Check”, along with various menu popups such as “Allow  Google to check all apps installed to this device for harmful behavior?” and “Installing this app may harm your device.So there is a conspiracy in the  Android user that their devices will be able to check the application before installation in near and the user will get a warning if  anything suspicious found in their devices. According to the Android Police, the new feature is related to Google’s recent takeover of Virus Total.

In February, Google introduced  a feature bouncer  to automatically scan new and existing applications on the app store. The feature however alerted the developers about possible problems with their apps.  “App Check” option is  to focus on notifying the  Android users about  suspicious content in their Android device.
